Cartier's archives are testament to the brand's many star-studded commissions and orders, designing treasures for royalty and high society alike. Among these unusual and aesthetically exceptional creations it happens to find watches that have rarely been seen on the market and representing the famous “once in a lifetime” find. Is this the case of the present Allongée with one of the most uncommon case ever produced. Realized in fully 18k yellow gold and preserved in very good conditions, its peculiarities are various: first of all the use of a cylindrical case with large bezel that creates an oval shape where is located the dial. Moreover, the fancy lugs with “top-hat” shape area never-seen detail for any other Cartier watch and a touch class when wrap on someones wrist. The champagne dial has the over mentioned oval shape with black, long, baton indexes, sward hands and Cartier signature of minimal and geometric essence.
