In 1977, Rolex introduced a new movement for the Day-Date generation, caliber 3055. It is the first Rolex movement to have a quick-set function, making it very easy to correct the date. The present watch impresses by its excellent overall condition, with sharp gold marks and hallmarks under the lugs, and the elegant yet subtle silver dial added to a champagne patina with diamonds indexes with brilliant and baguette cut.
