Founder Michel Parmigiani had conceived the brand as far back as 1976 through his work restoring watchmaking artifacts and his detailed knowledge of historical mechanical clocks and watches. All Parmigiani Fleurier watches are handmade, taking at least four hundred hours to put together. In order to create exclusivity, only a few thousand pieces are produced every year. The lot offered here is a new Kalpa Tonda Hemisphere in 18 kt pink gold featuring a 42 mm case diameter and powered by a self-winding automatic movement. The silvered dial is beautiful with applied baton indexes for the hours and including lots of functions: hours, minutes, small seconds, dates, dual time and AM/PM Indicator. The date display is at nine, the second time zone at twelve. This watch comes with the original box and warranty demonstrating the breadth of expertise inherent in Haute Horlogerie.
