Known among close friends as the Golden Boy for his unmatched ability to source and select the rarest and most coveted vintage watches, he has spent over three decades curating one of the most remarkable Rolex collections ever assembled. His keen eye for quality and rarity has resulted in some of the most extraordinary timepieces ever to appear on the market.

Featured Rolex Connoisseur Collection Lots in the April 2025 Exclusive Timepieces Auction

Lot 26 – The White Gold Rolex Day-Date 6612B | €60,000 - 120,000

An incredibly rare and possibly unique Rolex Day-Date reference 6612B in white gold, with a smooth bezel and diamond-set dial. Published in 100 Superlative Rolex Watches by John Goldberger, this is the only known example of its kind. Its outstanding preservation and unique configuration make it a grail piece for serious collectors.
 

Lot 37 – The Rolex Dato-Compax ‘Jean-Claude Killy’ 4767 | €150,000 - 300,000

A highly collectible and extremely rare Rolex Dato-Compax reference 4767 in stainless steel. This pioneering triple calendar chronograph is one of only 30 known examples in steel, making it one of the most sought-after Rolex complicated watches ever produced, being the very first reference of the iconic ‘Jean-Claude Killy’ model line.
 

Lot 181 – The Rolex ‘Prisoner of War’ Barilotto 3525 | €200,000 - 400,000

A historically significant Rolex Barilotto reference 3525, made famous for Rolex’s WWII initiative of supplying watches to British officers in German POW camps. This example is one of the rarest, featuring a pulsation scale—a configuration believed to exist on only one known watch.
 

Lot 187 – The Rolex 6098 ‘Dragon Cloisonné’ | €600,000 - 1,200,000

One of the most visually striking Rolex watches ever created, this reference 6098 features an oversized 36mm cloisonné enamel dial depicting a dragon. Crafted by Stern Frères and executed by master enameller Nelly Richard, this masterpiece is believed to be one of only two examples in a large Oyster case. 
 

Lot 233 – The Rolex Bubbleback 3172 ‘Joyeria Riviera’ | €30,000 - 60,000 

A remarkably preserved Rolex Bubbleback reference 3172 in stainless steel, featuring rare “cachet” lugs, a black gilt dial, and the coveted Joyeria Riviera retailer signature. The striking Rolex extendible bracelet and rare configuration make this a collector’s dream.
 

Lot 247 – The Rolex 6062 Triple Calendar Moonphase in Steel | In excess of €1,000,000

One of the rarest and most coveted Rolex models, the reference 6062 is a true grail. This example, preserved in extraordinary condition, features Arabic numerals at 3 and 9 o’clock, a luminous dial, and a deep blue moon phase display, making it one of the finest examples known to exist.
