Accompanied by the Longines Extract from the Archives confirming case, movement, production and subsequent sale on 23 November 1940 to the company Ostersetzer, which was at that time the Longines agent for Italy. The present watch is one of those timepiecese which is equipped with the legendary and iconic caliber 13ZN. It was created in 1936 and immediatelly became the basis of a huge quantity of chronographs made by the swiss brand: it was produced for mono or two pushers and featured the always appreciating complication of the flyback funtion. Since it was created in 1936 this means that the present watch is a rather early specimen equipped with this caliber since it has been manufactured at the end of 1940. In addition to bearing an important movement, a further peculiarity of this watch is without a doubt the particular shape of its lugs which are hidden and curved. The stainles steel case of 35 mm of diameter has two rectangular buttons for the chronograph, a big crown at 3 o'clock to adjust the time and a snap on case back all in gret conditions of preservation. The remarkable pink color of the dial together with black roman numerals, the two subsidiary dials and the blue thin still hands totally stand out and give a strong personality to an already admirable watch.
