The mastery of Patek Philippe for complicated watches is renowned all over the world, but in the course of its history has been able to reach quality heights in the field of jewelry watches for ladies. The lot here offered is a very elegant and charming specimen of a bracelet watch entirely made of 18k pink gold and exceptionally manufactured by Patek’s artisans. The structure sees the alternation of a solid but light three-component rectangular gold band that reveals the shape of a bow. Hidden by an April door, the small and delightful pink dial features Patek Philippe & Co signature and Arabic and baton indexes. Preserved in excellent condition, this timepiece must have been worn sparingly throughout its lifetime as it hardly displays any wear. With Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch with rose gold dial, gold hands and enameled hour markers in 1945 and its subsequent sale on 5 February 1946.
