In the 1980s also Heuer tried, the creation of quartz type watches giving life to the Heuer Titanium quartz. The Heuer Titanium series was launched in 1983 and marketed as having “space-age” technologies with a case and bracelet made entirely of titanium and, on some models, Carbon fiber inserts on the bracelet. It was available in three models: a first one in titanium and gold with rotating bezel, a second one in titanium and carbon fiber with fixed bezel and a third one, like the present watch, in titanium and gold with fixed bezel. The lot offered here is in really nice conditions with no evident sign of wearing: the bracelet is nice and the case back still presents all the engravings very clearly. The yellow-gold decoration of dial and bracelet is gaining a principle of oxidation and the dial is presenting a fascinating speckled effect.
