The present lot is a stunning and historically important Hamilton Count-Down GMT Chromatic. Its wide case of 48 mm has been realized in stainless steel with satin brushed finish in good conditions with two crowns used to rotate 24h and time-zone bezel rings and a steel bracelet. This watch uses a movement was a joint development by Breitling, Heuer and Buren on being the first company to produce an automatic chronograph. This movement was then modified by Hamilton in the caliber 141 which powers this model. The black dial features the rare Khanjar logo at 6 o’clock, always a precious feature to be found on a watch.
