After the not so satisfying introduction of the “Turn-O-Graph” reference 6202, Rolex decided to reintroduce their rotating bezel with attractive relief markers on the more tried and tested Datejust model, giving birth to the reference 6309, such as the present watch. This very lot is definitely special and unusual since it’s a left-handed wristwatch, this means that the winding crown is at 9 o’clock instead of 3. This tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case with fluted bezel and screw back has been realized in stainless steel and is preserved in wonderfully crisp original condition. The dial has a silvered matte finish with applied baton and dagger numerals with luminous accents, sweep center seconds. At 3 o’clock the window for the date with the typical red and black roulette color. Equipped with the jubilee stainless steel bracelet, this watch represents fantastic value for collectors and wearers alike.
