The lot offered here is a solid and elegant example of the reference 2553. Entirely manufacture in 18k pink gold with a snap on back, the condition of preservation of this rectangular creation is definitely excellent with still very deep hallmark on the side. The lapidated sides and lugs give an unusual form to this wristwatch, conferring to it a cool “H” shape. The brushed dial has an amazing pink color with applied yellow-gold baton indexes, subsidiary seconds dial and solid curved crystal. The caliber is the classic 9″ 90 mounted on some of the most appreciated watches by collectors. Moreover, on the case back are engraved the letters SyL that stand for the famous Venezuelan retailer Serpico y Laino. This watch is also provided with the extract from the archives confirming its yellow-gold case and its production in 1956 and subsequent sale on the 15th of November 1957.
