Around the ’50s, the growing new bourgeoisie of South America developed a taste for objects of high aesthetic quality. This demand found an answer in the Patek Philippe production, pioneer in designing many daring and elaborate creations for women using hard stones cased in precious metal. This two-body jewel in yellow gold is totally engraved on the bracelet forming a leaf motif and heart-shaped links. To link it to the case have been created two lugs conforming to the bracelet design each set with diamonds. The domed hinged cover of the case presents a floral protection embellished with 4 emeralds and 5 diamonds. The tiny, delicate dial is argentè and marked with the special signature of the Venezuelan retailer Serpico y Laino. Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in yellow gold in 1954 and its subsequent sale on 2 December 1954.
