The essence of the Cartier Tank has remained the same over more than 100 years and this particular lot is a unique example that has been made in platinum. The design of this incredible watch comes from another unique example made in 1933 by Cartier in gold (and showed in the picture) with the same exact style of the case shape and bezel with engraved and enamel painted roman numerals. It has been preserved in perfect conditions and its most appreciable characteristic is the mono pusher chronograph function. With great skills, has been in fact located the pusher used to activate, stop and rest the chrono in the winding crown with cabochon. The flinqué dial has nice blue-painted radial Arabic completed by the blue steel Breguet hands. The present watch is on the book “White—Cartier—Bianco” by Osvaldo Patrizzi at page 131.
