Most of the watches produced by Cartier over the years have always been amazed by its ability to totally break the mold with the aesthetic standards of the period in which they were designed. The lot offered here is a Limited Edition Cartier Diabolo Platinum Minute Repeater made in 2 pieces only with cabochon sapphires on case and crown. It is set on a black alligator strap with white-gold Cartier deployant buckle. The always fascinating complication of minute repetition with two hammers is activated by a button with a sapphire cabochon, the white guillochè dial with circular Roman numerals and second at six is completed with a beautiful set of blue swards hands.
