Vacheron occasionally devoted itself to the manufacture of watches with special designs and the wide, mobile hinged lugs of this watch testify it perfectly. This elegant style of lugs has somewhat become Vacheron Constantin’s signature design from the ’40s when they have been firstly introduced and then used on different specimens. The two tones argentè dial is extraordinary for its complexity and structure with Arabic printed indexes, outer minutes scale, inner gold hour scales and subsidiary seconds at six. This is a wonderful example of a mid-century vintage Vacheron Constantin wristwatch.
