In 1950, Jaeger LeCoultre released the Memovox, also know as “Voice of memory”, name derived from the Latin words “memoria” for memory, and “vox” for voice. In 2003, 53 years later the launched of the first specimen, Jaeger launched a new, limited edition of the Memovox, under the Master Compressor collection. Available in only 250 pieces and fully realized in platinum, the reference 146.6.97, such as the present watch is a solid timepieces that, despited the use of one of the hardest materials available, is conformable and charming. The three-body case with concave and curved lugs has a Compressor Key for alarm winding crown at 2, time-setting and winding crown at 4, winding crown at 10 for the revolving dive time ring, all preserved in very good conditions. Link together by a leather strap, on the casebook all the engravings are deep and clear. The blue dial has luminous Arabic numerals and dart indexes, outer revolving disc for the dive time, aperture for the alarm indication and luminous dauphine hands. Furthermore, the watch also comes with its box and booklet.
