The present post “Art-Deco” watch is a very elegant reference 1482 made by Patek Philippe. This very reference has been produced by 1940 till 1949 and considering its very unusual lugs has been nicknamed by collectors Triple Lugs. The lot here offered is a really nice conservation of the pink-gold case with a snap on back and highly triple large curved overhanging lugs. The glass is massive and its height allows for the lugs to actually sit on a higher plan than the very beautiful pink dial. The applied Roman and square numerals with seconds at 6 o’clock and thin hands further decorate the dial. This very model is powered by the rectangular manual winding caliber 9’’’90, a trustworthy and great-looking movement proudly used by the brand for many of its shaped wristwatches. Moreover this precious timepiece is attached to a three-prong fastener with a genuine tile bracelet fully made in pink gold. Truly indeed, Patek Philippe is tagged as one of the supreme designers of modern-day timepieces up to this point in time. This watch is also provided with the extract from the archives confirming its pink-gold case and its production in 1942 and subsequent sale on the 28th of May 1942.
