The foundation of Zenith dates back to 1865, in the Swiss city of Le Locle and during its long history of over a century it has been able to stand out for the great aesthetic and performative quality of its watches, for the great variety of models offered but above all for being one of the first brands to present wrist chronographs. Moreover, Zenith occasionally also tested itself in the creation of very large specimens of chronograph and the reference 12526 here offered is definitely one of those. A single glance is sufficient to realize the supreme aesthetic impact of this very watch, featuring an incredibly stunning oversize case measuring 46 mm that comes in perfect overall conditions. The yellow-gold case is absolutely very well preserved with fine proportions and still deep and visible the reference and serial numbers on the case. The dial is perfect for the vintage lovers, with its age charm and appeal to present black Arabic numbers, outer tachometer scale and the three subsidiary dials for constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registration. Moreover on the dial is printed by the retailer Verga, one of the most important retailers in Milan since 1947, located only steps away from the Milan Cathedral in via Mazzini and still on business with various watch brands, especially Rolex.
