With Vacheron Constantin Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1974. The present timepiece is a tiny and chic creation by Vacheron Constantin Geneve. The Vacheron Asymmetric is one of the most memorable and fascinating watch models. The present model was introduced following Vacheron Constantin receiving the Prestige de la France award on 23 June 1972. The ceremony took place under the direction of the French Minister François-Xavier Oriole and the distinction was rewarding the partnership between the Manufacture and talented Parisian jewelers. The elongated curved asymmetric case is perfectly preserved and the dial is another remarkable feature with its silvered color on which have been printed baton indexes and Roman numbers. On the case at 3 o’clock, there is the cabochon sapphire-set crown and the back is secured by one screw and engraved with emblem and prestige de la France to commemorate the event. The caliber is a K1050/B with 20 jewels, this watch is a lavish creation from Vacheron Constantin and for rectangular watch collectors is a totally unmistakable object for conditions, quality and rarity.
