In the ’20s of the 1900s, watches had increasingly found a place on the wrists of many businessmen. One year earlier than the Great Depression of the 1929 market, Patek Philippe manufactured the present wristwatch in the perfect standard of style of the time. The case has a two-body composition with hinged case back very thin straight lugs and has been manufactured in Platinum. The shape has been ideated to fit perfectly on the wrist, and despite its age it has been preserved in a nice way. The dial remains faithful to the case and was made with a beautifully preserved silver color and the applied numbers have the iconic Breguet style. To further embellish the dial has been printed with the name “Tiffany”. That was an official retailer of watches and Jewels on the American soil in New York City. Accompanied by a Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in Platinum in 1928 and its subsequent sale on 23 July 1929.
