It is not a secret that some of the most collectable and valuable watch presents enamel dials made by Rolex or Patek Philippe. Extremely rare to find, these mastery creations were either polychrome or monochrome and in both cases the beauty of the watch is extraordinary increased. Usually, the monochrome ones were supplied by the Stern Freres company and in some cases manufacture by the legendary Charles Poluzzi. The lot here offered is one of the very few examples to appear at auction bearing the extremely fascinating green enamel dial. This reference 6284 has a two-body case with a smooth inclined bezel fully realized in yellow gold and equipped with an oyster riveted bracelet with the same material, all preserved in very nice and charming conditions. The dial is nothing short of stunning, especially set with faceted gold applied hour markers, which glisten in the light against the royal green enamel. The color appears bright yet translucent and has an even, rich and saturated tone. Every detail is taken into account. The champagne chapter ring which surrounds the edge is laid with gilt dot minute markers which adds a further element of sophistication. Really true masterpieces, the monochrome enamel dials are some of the most difficult creations that can be found on the market and the one here offered is even more sought after considering its perfect conservation and incredible rarity.
