In the success of the Vacheron Constantin 222 model designed by industry legend Jorg Hysek, the firm revealed a new descendant from the icon in 1996, the Overseas. Fashioned in an attractive Maltese cross bezel in steel, the debut of the collection instantly captured the market’s appetite for the luxury sports timepieces. Since then, the Overseas has become an icon and an important pillar of the world’s oldest manufacturer of timepieces and nowadays is surely one of the most appreciated model among the contemporary watches. Manufactured in 2020, the lot here offered is part of the latest iteration of the Overseas Dual Time family. Made a bit more elegant with a changeable strap, the watch is the epitome of sportiness, with a 41 mm wide case in steel. The unusual feature on the case is surely the pusher at 4 o’clock. The electric blue dial is eye-catching with white text and accents. At 6 o’clock the date dial while at 9 is located the AM or PM indication. Offered in excellent overall condition, the present example is complete with its full set of accessories plus an additional interchangeable rubber strap and steel bracelet.
