The present timepiece is a tiny and chic creation by Vacheron Constantin Geneve, with its asymmetric case that is now one of the most memorable and fascinating time-only models ever produced by the brand. The present model was introduced after Vacheron Constantin received the Prestige de la France award on 23 June 1972. The ceremony took place under the direction of the French Minister François-Xavier Oriole and the distinction was rewarding the partnership between the Manufacture and talented Parisian jewelers. The elongated curved asymmetric case is perfectly preserved and the dial is another remarkable feature with its champagne color and baton indexes. On the case at 3 o’clock, there is the cabochon sapphire-set crown and the back is secured by four screws and engraved with emblem and prestige de la France to commemorate the event. With the caliber 1052, this watch is a lavish creation from Vacheron Constantin made for a female wrist and for rectangular watch collectors is a totally unmistakable object for conditions, quality and rarity.
