Produced alongside its sibling reference 6263, the 6265 was made for less than 20 years and it is believed that fewer than 2000 gold versions of both the references were cased in either of the two yellow-gold versions. The present lot offered is a high quality Daytona made in 18 kt yellow gold: it is a specimen of 6265 which means that it is equipped with the gold bezel with a graduation of 200 units per hours and the iconic screw pushers. The gold strikes for the great conservation matching perfectly the champagne color with applied baton numbers, luminous dots and black subsidiary dial. Very well preserved, the case shows 3 deep hallmarks on the case back and is further equipped with an oyster riveted bracelet in notable conditions of preservation. In addition, to complete the offer, it comes with its original box and warranty.
