Produced between 1989 and 2007, the Rolex GMT-Master II reference 16 710 succeeded the previous reference 16 700, featuring an improved and slimmer case, an upgraded caliber 3185, and a much more convenient independently adjustable hour hand for time setting. Over its 18-year production span, the reference saw three distinct generations. The first used tritium until 1997, followed by an upgrade to Luminova until 1999, and finally, Super-LumiNova was introduced from 2000 until the model was discontinued in 2007. The present GMT-Master II from 2001 is offered in excellent overall condition and features an elegant and understated all-black bezel insert.
