To commemorate the 50th anniversary of its elite diving corps, the Italian State Police Divers Corps (Polizia di Stato Sommozzatori) commissioned Rolex to produce an exclusive and highly sought-after special edition of the Sea-Dweller. Only 78 examples were created, making it one of the rarest and most desirable modern Rolex tool watches. Among these, 28 were further personalized with the certification number of the diver to whom they were awarded.
