The present timepiece might seem like a simple chronograph, but its peculiarity lies in the highly unusual arrangement of the chronograph hands. Instead of having the minutes register at 3 o’clock, there is a supplementary central hand for the minutes, while the subsidiary counter is used for the constant seconds. The watch is powered by the 12.68Z caliber, housed in a three-body pink gold case with a 34 mm diameter, featuring a snap-on back and straight concave lugs that have been very nicely preserved in the almost 80 years of life. The chronograph function is activated by a single rectangular pusher located at 2 o’clock on the band. The pink dial features black painted Arabic numerals, central minute and second hands for the chronograph, and a subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o’clock. The watch is absolutely well-preserved, maintaining its elegant proportions, stepped bezel, and sharp lugs.
