This is an exceptionally rare and early Jaeger-LeCoultre Day-Date pocket watch in stainless steel. The condition of this piece is incredible, especially considering it dates from the 1940s. The proportions and steps of the bezel are outstanding, and the serial numbers on the back are very deep. The most remarkable feature is the two-tone salmon-pink dial, which is in great condition with subsidiary seconds at 6 o’clock. An aperture window below 12 displays the day, while the date is shown by an inner ring in a different pink tone. This manual wind pocket watch houses a caliber 429 movement and represents a highly unusual and rare creation by Jaeger-LeCoultre.
