Created in 1989 to celebrate Patek Philippe’s 150th anniversary, the present Jumping Hours reference 3969 honors its 1920s design. This limited edition includes only 450 pink gold pieces and 50 in platinum, making it especially rare. The tonneau-shaped case is in great condition with preserved engravings and the silver opaline-white dial features black radial “Breguet” numerals. Central to this piece is the caliber 215 HG, showcasing a jumping digital-hour display. Every hour, the minute hand completes a rotation, causing the small white disc to “jump” to the next hour, visible through a window at 12 o’clock. This timepiece comes with its original Patek Philippe buckle, box, pochette, coin, and certificate of origin, confirming its 1989 production and sale by Haussman on September 7, 1989. This watch is not just a tribute to Patek Philippe’s storied history but also a testament to its enduring craftsmanship and a truly collectible piece.
