To commemorate this event and to celebrate the partnership of James Bond with Omega, its has been released a special edition of Seamaster Co-Axial, the reference 232.30.42.21.01. Made in limited edition of 5007 pieces in 2008, the three body case in is fully realized in stainless steel with lyre lugs, graduated unidirectional revolving black bezel for the decompression times, gas escape valve at 10, crown protected by crown guard at 3, screw- down back numbered and engraved. Nicely preserved, the present watch is equipped with a black textured surface on its dial - reminiscent of the grip of 007's trademark Walther PPK. The blood red tip of the seconds hand rotates in stark contrast to the black dial. A 007 logo is engraved on the buckle of the stainless steel bracelet, a second 007 logo appears on the caseback which also features the engraved words "Planet Ocean Limited Edition”, while a third one is “hidden” on the sapphire crystal, slightly below the hands.
