Soon after, Constant married Marie Perregaux, who also came from a clockmaker family, thus renaming the business as “Girard-Perregaux" as it is still today. The lot here offered is part of the Richeville family, whose history starts in 1960’s and has been explored in many ways during its 60 years run. The specimen in this auction is a gorgeous representative of chronograph reference 2750 realized in stainless steel, with a tonneau case with concave lugs, stepped bezel and oval pushers, all preserved in remarkable conditions. The incredibly charming dial has a silvered background with engine turned decoration, radial arabic numerals, concentric minute/seconds track, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30-minute register. This wristwatch also comes with its original box and tag.
