It was 1913 when Longines developed the iconic caliber 13.33Z which immediately became the trademark of the Swiss brand. The main characteristic of this specific movement was the use of only one pusher for the chronometer. The present lot is a remarkable representative with these movements: sealed in a yellow-gold case with hinged back, this very lot is a true beauty for its thin lugs, the absolutely well-preserved case and the small crown with monopusher. The dial is in untouched enamel with painted black arabic indexes, subsidiary dials for the seconds and the 30-minute register, inner 1/5th seconds track, central red pulsation scales, outer black respiration scales and blue steel Breguet hands.
