Throughout its illustrious history, Vacheron Constantin has mastered the art of creating exquisite pocket watches with exceptional complications, decoration, and design. The time-only specimen offered here is striking for its simple beauty and elegance. Crafted with a precious combination of white and yellow gold, it has been preserved in great condition, with the engraved coat of arms on the back still clear, bearing the quote “Non nobis solum,” meaning “Not only for ourselves.” The beautiful dial features subsidiary seconds at 6 o'clock, an outer perlage minute track, and applied Breguet numerals. Additionally, the watch is signed by Bigelow Kennard & Co., a Boston-based company founded in 1845, known for its high-quality jewelry, clocks, watches, and altar silverware and active around 1971-72.
