Due to their wonderfully diverse dial designs, vintage Omega chronograph wristwatches from the early half of the 20th century are among the most charismatic and sought after by enthusiasts. Over the years, the company acquired several Swiss brands and movement manufacturers, including Lemania in 1932. Only one year later, Omega introduced one of the most important calibers in its history: the 33.3. The example offered here is a truly appealing chronograph featuring this significant movement, characterized by a mesmerizing two-tone, multi-scale dial. The stainless steel case with a snap-on back has been nicely preserved, complete with its olive pushers and reeded winding crown. The dial is the standout feature of this watch. The two-tone surface has developed a beautiful patina and presents multiple scales in different colors: a pulsation scale in red, a tachymeter in light blue, a telemeter in green, and a snail scale in blue. An apotheosis of color, this watch is a true marvel and a delight for collectors.
