Founded in 1881 as LAI Ditescheim & Freres SA, Movado's 143 years of history have gifted the collectors' community with some remarkable pieces, especially during the 1930s to 1960s. The present watch is a superlative example of such production. Manufactured in unusual silver, the case has aged in an incredibly attractive way, changing color to a dark, anthracite grey. The case, preserved in very nice condition, features a hinged back, while the crown presents the mono-pusher that activates, stops, and resets the chronograph. This complication is very attractive to racing enthusiasts and remains highly sought after today. The dial is striking with painted Breguet numerals, two subsidiary dials, a seconds scale in black, and a tachymeter scale in red. The appealing layout is designed to capture the eyes and hearts of every viewer.
